LoveLife is My Brand & My Mission

I’m Jacqueline Hellyer, an expert in the world of love, sex, and soul-level connection. A leader in the field of psychosexual therapy and conscious relating, I bring science, psychology, and spirit together in a uniquely powerful way. With one foot rooted in evidence-based practice and the other dancing through Tantric wisdom, I guide individuals and couples into deeper, richer, more erotically alive relationships.

I've been called a Relationship Whisperer, not because I offer quick fixes, but because I help people remember who they really are and how to relate from that place of truth. My work is warm, grounded, and transformative. Whether you’re here to heal, grow, expand, or simply explore what’s possible, you’re in the right place.

We only get a few precious decades on this beautiful planet, and I believe that when we fully embrace love and sexuality, in all their beauty, intimacy, sensuality, and playfulness, we truly learn to love life.

Because when we’re thriving in our relationships, when we’re feeling connected, desired, and seen, life is pretty damn good. Imagine a world where everyone felt safe in love, confident in sex, and free in their expression… what a happier, saner place it would be.

That’s why I’ve dedicated my life to discovering what really makes relationships work, both in and out of the bedroom. My mission is to help people reclaim their sexual energy — their life energy — and use it to create extraordinary relationships, and extraordinary lives.

With a rare mix of intellect, compassion, and playful insight, Jacqueline’s work is transforming lives — and changing the way we talk about love and sexuality for good.

A More Personal Story

I’ve always been deeply curious - about life, about people, about what makes us who we are. From the moment I could form a question, I was asking the big ones. Apparently, I was a “strange child” who read “strange books” and asked “strange questions.” I’ve often felt like that child pointing out that the emperor was wearing no clothes, quietly observing the world and wondering why no one else seemed to notice.

From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a warrior, a scientist, and a priest, and in many ways I’ve become all three.

The Warrior in me studied martial arts from my teens into my thirties, becoming particularly skilled in Aikido, the Art of Harmony. I’ve always had a strong will and a fierce sense of justice. Entering the field of sexuality required every bit of that warrior spirit, to stand up against misunderstanding, ignorance, and shame, and to keep showing up, heart open, truth intact.

The Scientist in me is endlessly fascinated by existence. I hold multiple science degrees and deeply respect the scientific method — even as I acknowledge that there’s still so much we’ve yet to understand. I delight in how modern research increasingly validates ancient spiritual wisdoms. I call myself a Scientific Mystic, grounded in evidence, open to mystery.

And the Priest? That calling was always within me, a desire to serve, to guide, to help others become more whole. As a child, I was shocked to learn I couldn’t be a priest because I was a girl. But I found my own path, beyond traditional religion, diving into transpersonal psychology and sacred sexuality. Now, as a therapist, educator, and space-holder, I'm fulfilling that calling by helping people reconnect with their authentic, embodied selves — which, to me, is the essence of true spiritual service.

My academic path began in biochemistry and human sciences, driven by a fascination with human potential. Back then, my belief that the brain could change and that food affected our health earned me the label of a “hippy herbal fruitcake.” So I pivoted, earning a graduate degree in environmental science and enjoying a successful career in that field for many years.

But while I care deeply for the planet, that work never felt like my true calling. After three children and a few more degrees, I left my career and stepped into the (then relatively unknown) world of life coaching. People thought I was mad. And then I wrote Great Sex After Kids, completed a Masters in Sexual Health, and began my practice as a Psychosexual Therapist. I haven’t looked back since.

It was as though the universe gently, insistently guided me in this direction. And I’ve come to see that sexuality isn’t just a topic of interest — it’s a key to our wholeness. It’s where the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual meet. I’ve explored this through the lens of science, anthropology, history, psychology, philosophy, spirituality, and personal experience. And the more I learned, the more I saw the need for an integrated, holistic, and transpersonal approach to sexuality — which led me to complete a second Masters in Consciousness, Spirituality, and Transpersonal Psychology.

I call what I do Transpersonal Sexology — and it brings all of me to the table.

Even now, after thousands of hours working with thousands of people, I continue to be inspired by the courage and beauty I witness every day. Our culture is only just beginning to reclaim sexuality as a natural, sacred, and vital part of being human. I feel privileged to be part of this evolution.

This is my life’s work. It’s a joyful, meaningful, and extraordinary path, and I’m honoured to guide those ready to explore what it means to live, love, and connect at the deepest levels.
